Rachael Power – Progression: Navigating Your Coffee Career

All Barista Camp 'coffeetalks' - by speakers such as Rachael Power, Shaun Barber and Mette-Marie Hansen - were recorded by our media partner European Coffee Trip. We'll be releasing the videos of these talks over the next months so we keep fuelling discussion and building an inventory of knowledge. Don't hesitate to add your comments here, or on our Youtube channel.

At Barista Camp 2016 we invited an incredible line-up of speakers to join us for lectures and group tastings – a tried and tested formula for those afternoons at Camp where you want to engage with knowledge outside of the SCA Diploma System. The first in our #Dialogue releases comes from Rachael Power, Head of People at Taylor St Baristas, she certainly knows a thing or two about the career of a barista. Watch this talk for advice on career progression and a plan for making informed career choices through personal assessment.
