CoLab: Antwerp - Partners

We're delighted to announce local Belgian coffee machine suppliers, Limarc as the Espresso Bar Partner for CoLab: Antwerp. During the main day of CoLab: Antwerp, Limarc will be on hand to keep the coffee flowing through two espresso bar stations kitted out with La Marzocco Linea PBs and Anfim grinders, where attendees can sample coffee from one of six CoLab coffee partners. 

Established in 1983 by Marc Versluys and Lima De Sutter, Limarc set out to develop a strong foundation for their business as espresso machine suppliers for the developing Belgian coffee market. Son Patrick took over Limarc in 1992, to bring the necessary experience and knowledge to grow the business and expand their humble premises to an office, showroom and modern workshop. In August 2010, Limarc moved again, to its current location in Eke (Nazareth), where a small but strong team of staff are on hand to provide the ultimate in coffee machine supply and service. 

The CoLab: coffee partners are selected to reflect the CoLab: audience made up of the local community and international baristas so for Antwerp we're pleased to be working with a sample of local roasters, Crossroast, Cuperus and Normo, and a few from further afield including Atkinsons, The Barn and Square Mile Coffee.

Good news is that all coffee will be brewed up by a representative from each of the roasters giving CoLab: attendees the best chance for connecting to and learning from the wider coffee community. To ensure our partners are extracting the best possible flavours from the cup we have water partners Brita on hand to filter all the water used for espresso and brewed coffee. 

Marco have partnered with BGE for CoLab: Antwerp as our main brew bar sponsor, so for those who prefer a longer brew you'll be able to enjoy a filter coffee expertly prepared on Marco Jet brewers during the main day and on day three at the SCAA Flavor Wheel tasting. 

Finally, we have not one but two milk sponsors to meet the needs of all attendees! Local longstanding dairy Hollebeekhoeve will be providing luscious dairy milk alongside Alpro who will be contributing a tasty alternative to milk lovers.
