Discover the speakers for CoLab: Prague!

From May 21st to 23rd, BGE is headed to Prague kicking-off our 2015 in-person activities with the first CoLab. CoLab combines a day of educational content with time exploring the host city’s coffee community and culture.

We’re collaborating with Tamper Tantrum, who'll be hosting a day of inspiring lectures, discussion and interviews at the Czech National Library of Technology. We are excited to share the fabulous speakers they are bringing to the stage:

  • Chahan Yeretzian, University of Zurich (Zurich)

  • Adam Neubauer, EMA Espresso Bar (Prague)

  • Erna Tosberg, roestbar (Münster)

  • Tibor Várady, Espresso Embassy (Budapest)

  • Nora Smahelová, Chapter One (Berlin)

  • Stefanos Domatiotis, TAF Coffee (Athens)

From research scientist at the university digging into geeky details about extraction to barista in Prague getting into the WBC semi-finals, CoLab: Prague’s education program has interesting and inspiring content for everyone. Make sure to keep an eye on our Facebook page where Tamper Tantrum will share their profiles every Tuesday & Thursday in the lead up to the event.

Together with Coffee Embassy, we’re also hosting a bunch of social activities to discover and celebrate Prague’s blossoming coffee scene: cuppings, cafe tours, boat cruises, and more. We've also set-up a cool hosting program with local baristas if you want to dig in and get to know the city (and save on accommodation, too). Tickets to the full event from May 21-23 are a real steal at €85 and are still available. Join us - it’s going to be a blast
